Deflector Flat Fan Spray Nozzle (Series 686)

The Lechler Deflector Flat Fan spray nozzle produces a moderate impact with a very wide spray angle. This nozzle initially is a solid stream but once the spray exits the orifice and deflects off an angled portion of the nozzle, it creates a 140º spray angle, which is the largest flat fan angle we produce. Therefore, when looking to use the fewest possible nozzles to cover a wide area, this nozzle is the one to choose.

The flat fan nozzle has two different designs: Parabolic and Even. The Parabolic flat fan nozzle make the flow heavier in the center and taper off toward the edges, allowing the nozzles to overlap so the spray across the whole header is evenly distributed. The Even flat fan design distributes liquid evenly across the full width of the spray. Best used when using one or two nozzles for specific applications.

The Defelctor nozzle is a special kind of flat fan nozzle design, which produces a flat fan spray pattern and deflects it from an outside defelctor plate. This results in a powerful, sharply defined flat jet spray.
