Raymond Classifiers- Mechanical Air Separator
Single or double whizzer designs are available for fast separation of fines and high positive rejection of oversize. The 11 models of air separators range in sizes from 30" (750mm) lab size units to 24' (7.25m) diameter high volume production units to provide accurate finished materials to 325 mesh (44µ). Typical applications include cement, limestone and hydrated lime, talc and clays, metal and metallurgical powders, chemicals and food products such as sugar, milk powder, corn starch, wheat starch and cocoa.
Jet Stream Classifier
These high classifiers process ultra-fine powders having average particle sizes of 10 microns or less. Applications are typically found in the separation of coating fillers, extenders, pigments, metallic powers, cosmetics and chemicals. powders, cosmetics and chemicals.
Raymond Laboratory Separator
The Raymond Laboratory Separator is a small capacity air classifier, especially suited for the extracting of a fine fraction of solid, dry material. It is a completely self-contained unit utilizing constant air circulation for a virtually dustless operation and resulting in a uniform classification. Supplied with two different fan wheels and four classifying "whizzers" which can be mixed and matched to meet the particle size requirements of the application.
- Shipped completely assembled to a metal base together with its 1/2 HP drive motor. Corner sockets and pipe legs are provided to support the unit at the desired height above the floor.
- Excellent for classification of materials at the 200 mesh and 325 mesh particle size ranges.
- Easy to adjust for desired changes in fineness.
- Easy to clean resulting in minimal cross-contamination of varying feedstocks.
- Can provide representative simulation of the performance of larger Raymond Mechanical Air Separators.
- Can be used in combination with any Raymond Laboratory Mill.
