Vibra Screw Inc., has introduced a pre-wired and pre-mounted Loss-In-Weight Feeder design for its larger models. The system speeds installation and greatly simplifies start-up over traditional field assembled units.
The feeder and its scale come mounted to a separate rugged tubular frame support base. During set-up, the base is secured in place. AN isolated junction box on the base allows the customer to connect power directly without concern for flexible scale connection which are already pre-wired between the base and feeder. After the base has been secured and power provided, the feeder is ready to run with little calibration required.
The design has proven so successful that nearly all Vibra Screw Loss-In-Weight Feeders are now installed by the customers without the additional expense of factory start-up service.
